Anthony DiPaola (he/him) is an American painter who after living in Germany for a decade recently returned to New York where he lives and works. Awarded a studio space at the Atelierhaus of the Bonner Kunstverein, Germany in 2015 where he was subsequently elected to the Board of Trustees in 2018. In 2019 he was granted an Eine Welt Netz NRW project award and in 2020 he received the MKW-NRW-Stipend for artists. He has exhibited his work in primarily nonprofit spaces including Fabric 45, Künstlerforum and K186 Kulturgewerke in Germany and Buzzer 30, New York. DiPaola had solo shows in various college and university galleries including Ruhr-Universität (Bochum), Gudelsky Gallery (Maryland College of Art and Design), Harry Wood Gallery (Arizona State University) and was included in a group exhibitions at the Corcoran Gallery (Washington DC). Anthony currently lives and works in Hamilton Heights, New York.
